(IDEATE)

What is ID:8?

ID:8 (“IDEATE”) is a statewide DSIDQ Education Service that is designed to improve the educational outcomes of students with Down syndrome, intellectual disability, developmental delay, or other complex learning profiles. This service aims to build the capacity of educators within schools through a 4-phase consulting process.

This service is proudly supported by the Queensland Government and is available for FREE to all Queensland State, Independent, and Catholic Schools.

Four steps in a school program: 1. Profiling - schools complete an intake form for student info and barriers to inclusion. 2. Collaborating - free one-hour face-to-face or online consultation with an ID:8 expert. 3. Reporting - schools get a report with recommendations and resources. 4. Reflecting - ongoing free consultations to review goals and plan next steps.
